Dear Srs Ia am a great fan of these manunfacturers that made the difference. And now I am writing a book about different brands, including my dear Panther. I have a littel problem, I have no pics of Panther FF with the right of being used commercially. I wonder if might be possible using the old pic you show on the FF post. Is it yours? What can I do? I have the same problem with the Lazer. Both are so difficult to find and to take a photo... Thanks a lot and enjoy your rides!! Julio

I worked for Panthers twice - once in the 70's and once in the 80's with Bob Jankel and Mr Kim. Both were lovely, Mr Kim used to come round the workshop twice a week and see us playing darts and he used to say whoever got the highest score will get a tenner! I was a panel beater and worked on nearly all of the Panther cars., but mainly on the DeVilles and the Rios. Great memories looking at the cars on your website.

I have owned a Panther J72 since 1996 and it has done hardly any mileage since that time having covered only 9,000 miles from new. It has a 4.2 litre engine and is mechanically sound. The only thing that lets it down is the poor quality of chrome on the bumpers and headlamps all of which require re-chroming. The colour of the car is signal red and requires re-commisioning to a Panther enthusiast at a loving home. I am open to offers and will sell the car for the highest offer. My telephone number is 01978 266193. I am close to Chester and the car will need to be removed by a low loader. David N Hughes

A good Ukrainian friend has a 1986 Kallista which he had registered and been driving freely in Crimea until he just went to reregister it under what is now Russian rule. The attached plate contains the cars VIN number but the "authorities" are giving him grief (for obvious reasons he being Ukrainian but now under Russian control) and are not accepting this is adequare VIN identification and are demanding he show it to them on a location on the car (windscreen/door recess etc) and despite searching the car forensically he has been unable to locate a VIN number in any of the "normal" locations. So can anyone help with a location or is the metal plate the only source of the VIN? the car (windscreen/door recess etc) and despite searching the car forensically he has been unable to locate a VIN number in any of the "normal" locations. So can you help with a location or is the metal plate the only source of the VIN?

I have a YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/BigCar2) talking about car histories, and I'd like to cover Panther. Would it be OK to use some of the images from this site (with credit of course)? Thanks in advance.

Good afternoon, My name is Marc Veenhuis and I’m a 57 years old car enthusiast, but I had a series of Cerebral Vascular Accidents so I only drive short distances. To stay involved in the car hobby, I collect car (bonnet) badges and nameplates. Do you have an old or maybe slightly damaged Panther badge for my collection please ? Thank you. With kindest regards, Marc Veenhuis Meindershof 45Meindershof 45 7255 BT. Hengelo (Gelderland) The Netherlands www.instagram.com/cliedercarnut
